I bought this to preserve my original systems hard disks on multiple laptops and desktops. I know from the out set that this is not a cost effective way for the purpose but I want to have it done with the least effort.
After duplications, I installed the copies and make sure that they work like the original. Well, they almost worked but not quite. In each instance, Windows 7 and Vista does not boot up without going thru the system restore process built into the OS. Once restored, the copies worked just like the originals. I believe this is not a problem with the duplicator but instead some build-in features of Windows to stop users from having an unlicensed copies of the OS.
In conclusion, this is a satisfactory purchase.
